To my Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Your comments were unexpected yet, I saw them as a miraculous Blessing this morning. Reading the overwhelmingly outpour of your love for God was a most incredible and joyful experience.
I cannot describe how it feels to experience Unity among people of your own kind; believers in Christ. Reading your words and comments are what Christ intended for us; the children of God unified in the Body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:15-16, 25)
As I read through your comments, words from you stuck in my head. As I opened Scripture, I was lead to the answers to the words in my head, exactly in this order:
While serving the Lord, I should keep in mind: “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” (Ephesians 6:10)
Second, “Hallelujah Praise the Lord”. To me, the word Hallelujah conjures up a group of people with their arms raised to heaven and bowing in Praise to God. In truth, I did not know the exact translation was “Praise be to God”, I “doubled up” so to speak. Is it wrong for me to “double up”? Galatians 4:18 states: “It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always,” So yes, you all are right; when expressing Love for and Praise to God, there is nothing wrong with “doubling up”.
My previous decision to accommodate a reader thinking I was being kind and considerate was contradictory to the Words in Scripture: “Am I now trying to win approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:10) You all are right; as a servant of the Lord, pleasing the Lord is first and foremost.
I learned some important lessons because of you all. Thank you all for your Love and devotion to God in Christ. Thank you for your support. You are the BEST!! I will continue just as before. I love you all.
God Bless you.
